The Territory Customer Director is responsible for driving customer acquisition and managing existing customer relationships within a designated territory. This role focuses on achieving growth targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the successful implementation of upsell strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer relationship management, a deep understanding of the market dynamics within the territory, and the ability to lead a team to achieve exceptional results.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the cloud industry, particularly with AWS or Azure MSP, and a proven track record in customer relationship management and Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition and Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new customers within the assigned territory.
- Identify and target potential customers through market research and analysis.
- Create and execute effective outreach campaigns to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to address their challenges.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the territory, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Upsell and Cross-sell Strategies:
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing customers.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to design and deliver value-added solutions.
- Achieve revenue targets by promoting and selling premium services.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics within the territory.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
- Adjust strategies and tactics as needed to respond to changing market conditions.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and customer success professionals within the territory.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving results.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and alignment of goals.
In this role, you will:
- Delivery against sales targets assigned for your specific region.
- Generate demand for your team and assist them in closing to hit Sales targets and KPI
- Oversee day-to-day team operation and performance
- Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
- Discover training needs and provide coaching on 2bcloud process and sales skills.
- Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself.
- Escalation point for deal-related challenges and deal reviews/discount approvals for your team.
- Manage and maintain vendor relations with MS Azure and AWS organizations including leading the quarterly business reviews with them.
- Prompt and embody company values and culture.
Requirements:
- A proven record in sales and reaching targets in the cloud MSP industry including sales management experience.
- Experience with AWS, AZURE clouds – Mandatory!
- Ability to adapt to the fast-changing nature of the Startup market, and can pivot and learn quickly
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a good business sense
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and ‘people skills’
